Belleville West Key Club Banquet – Changing of the Guard Announced

Members of the Belleville Kiwanis Club witnessed the officers and leaders of the Bellville West Key Club bestow honors upon their fellow “Clubbers” at the 2018 Key Club Banquet held on April 25, 2018. The Banquet was opened by outgoing President Grace Roerick.

Faculty Advisor, Ms. Jennifer Stauffer, presented awards earned at the District Convention to include Distinguished Officers and 1st Place for Oratorical Speech. Jennifer also presented decorations to graduating seniors. This neck medal honors those who served the Key Club.

 

Daniel Wolford in whose honor the annual scholarship for Key Club recipients is named

 

Former I-I Governor announced the naming of the annual scholarship issued by the Belleville Kiwanis Club. The scholarship is now known as the Daniel Wolford Scholarship in honor of Dan’s many decades of service. He answered the community’s call to serve the children. He helped those in need and those reaching for the stars. Lt. Governor-elect for Division 34 Rodger Allison presented scholarships to two deserving Key Clubbers: Nicole Laflen and Gabby Holmes.

 

Finally, the retirement of the 2017-2018 Board of Officers was presided by Ms. Susan Grimmer, member of the Belleville Kiwanis Club.
